Description

Repeat Dialing, activated by a customer dialed code, automatically redials the last number attempted.

Usage

  • Pick up receiver and listen for dial tone.
  • Dial *66 (1166 dial pulse)

 

If the line is not busy, the call will complete.

If the line is busy, the customer will hear confirmation tone and hang up.

Once the customer hangs up, the network will monitor the busy/idle status of both lines every 45 seconds for up to 30 minutes.

The network will begin 30 minute queuing process.

If both lines are idle, Then:

  • Customer receives ring back tone (short, short, long)
  • Customer picks up receiver
  • Network completes call

 

If the subscriber doesn't answer or is on another call, Then the network attempts to ring back: The ring back is repeated every 5 minutes for the remainder of the 30 minutes queuing process. If the customer still wants to place the call and the line stays busy for over 30 minutes:

  • Dials the number
  • Hangs up
  • Repeats from Step 1
